After a couple weeks break we are Back in Black with a bunch of great new trailers. So don’t Run to the Hills but stay and check them out, and all the other kick-ass stuff we have to offer.

Zach: See, all those song related puns up top make sense now, huh? As far as the trailer goes, looks pretty good, sort of like School of Rock but with no learning and more groupies, Rainn Wilson as a washed up hair metal drummer?, hells yeah. We already know he has rock in his blood as evidenced below:

I’ve seen some people comparing the vibe to Hot Rod, which is a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. We’ll have to wait and see.

Brian: Dwight, meet Superbad. That’s the vibe I get when I watch this trailer. Normally, I’d pass on a movie like this; full of adapted-for-dumb-teenagers type humor. But Rainn Wilson is awesome, so I will give it a little look. (As in, I might see it.)

Zach: So this trailer make me a little bit worried because of all the things during the Clone Wars you’re going to go rescue Jabba the Hutt’s son. How does he even have a son? How disgusted are you by that image? It seems kind of like a cheap “hey it’s more connections to the original trilogy!” thing and how is Tatooine a small, backwater world when every single major event in the universe seems to occur there? I’m still pretty excited because if it’s half as good as the cartoon series then it will kick ass.

Brian: “Star Wars” died for me after Episode 1, so I can’t really get interested for the Clone Wars stuff. Sorry. Not to mention the horrible video-game-esque animation. At least the show had great 2d animation, right? Well… it looks like it’ll be somewhat badass instead of another stupid origin story. Meh.

Zach: One week to go and excitement is at a boiling point. This trailer shows some insight into the skull at the beginning and more Marion (Karen Allen looks like Raiders was only 5 years ago and not 20) and Mutt (The LaBeouf). I think I said it on season finale but this is my number two most looked forward to movie of the summer behind Iron Man (awesome doesn’t begin to describe it) and before Dark Knight. Grab your fedora and whips and I’ll see you at the theater next week.

Brian: Now that Iron Man has been seen (awesome), this is now the next anticipated movie of the summer. Harrison Ford looks like he can still be Indy, and Cate Blanchett looks like a great villain. I’m indifferent on LaBeouf. Will be seeing.

Zach: I just realized we left this off our list of Summer Movies but probably with good reason, I don’t know about Brian but I didn’t really watch the X-Files, I’ve seen probably 5 episodes at most. Now if this was a Lone Gunmen movie I would be there opening day because those guys are great. (Check out the tragically short lived series for proof) I’m gonna Attack Force this one because I don’t really care.

Brian: Oh how I’ve missed you, X-Files. Great show, good first movie, and now they’re doing another movie. Don’t call it a sequel — this one deals with a different occurence rather than the annoying overall Mulder mystery that plagued the series (especially the last few seasons). Also, seeing Duchovny and Anderson there makes me giddity. (Lone Gunmen cameo, please?)

Zach: Forget even trying to win an Oscar this year, we have a winner and it’s a Chihuaha. Seriously though, this is probably one of the most idiotic things I have ever seen, and I just watched Jaws: The Revenge again recently. Everyone who sees this movie should be killed to make the human race stronger without their stupidity mucking it up.

Brian: *loads shotgun*
*puts into mouth*
*pulls trigger.*

Well, that’s gonna do it for us this week, I’m sure some big trailers are going to be before Narnia and Indy this week and next week so Trailer Park will be back shortly.
